Erasmus+ Exchange Program Competition for Academic Staff
As part of the Erasmus+ exchange initiative, a competition has been declared for the faculty members of Batumi Navigation Teaching University to participate in an exchange with the European partner institution, "Academia Navala "Mircea Cel Batran" in Romania, during the spring semester of the academic year 2023-2024.
The Erasmus+ exchange program facilitates international mobility for academic staff by covering travel expenses and offering scholarships. The scholarship amount is determined in alignment with the guidelines of Erasmus+ and the legislation of the host country.
The participant is required to fulfill the following criteria:
- Throughout the competition and mobility period, academic staff members are required to be employed full-time at Batumi Navigation Teaching University.
- Submission of a letter of advance approval or invitation from a representative of the relevant department/office, ensuring direct hosting during the mobility period, is mandatory. However, this requirement is exempt for applicants whose selected host university does not necessitate a letter of consent during the competition period.
- In the event that the candidate has previously taken part in the academic staff exchange program, a minimum of 6 months must have elapsed since the last mobility before submitting a new application for the same type of mobility (i.e., academic staff mobility).
To enter the competition, academic staff members who are interested must provide the following documents in English:
- Copy of international passport;
- EUROPASS CV;
- Certificate/certificate confirming knowledge of the English language;
- Certificate from the workplace (in English);
- Mobility agreement signed by the immediate supervisor at the home university;
- A letter of prior approval from a representative of the relevant department/office of the host university (e-mail approval is sufficient);
- 1 letter of recommendation from the faculty.
- Georgian documents must be translated into English and notarized.
- Duration of mobility - 7 days.
This is crucial!
Only fully completed applications will be taken into consideration. Sending the required competition documents in separate stages is not permitted. In such instances, the candidate will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
Application Submission Deadline: Candidates may electronically submit their applications until March 5, 2024, at the following email address: erasmusplus@bntu.edu.ge
