For The Attention Of Students!

The Fellowship Program For Students Has Been Introduced By The International Association Of Maritime Universities (IAMU). This Program Aims To Assist Students Aspiring To Become Global Maritime Professionals (GMP).

During The 20th Annual General Assembly In October 2019, Dr. Sasakawa Unveiled The Nippon Foundation-international Association Of Maritime Universities (NF-IAMU) Fellowship Program. This Program Is Designed For Students And Academic Staff From Iamu Member Universities, Aiming To Advance The Global Maritime Professional (GMP) Initiative And Integrate The Gmp Approach Into The Curricula.

Criteria For Contestant Selection:

  • The Applicant Must Be A Currently Enrolled Student At Bntu;
  • The Applicant Should Be In Their Second Year Of Undergraduate Studies;
  • A Gpa Rating Higher Than 2.5 Is Required;
  • The Applicant Is Required To Provide Either A Document Confirming English Language Proficiency At The B2 Level Or The Results Of An Internal Institutional Exam At Bntu Assessing Proficiency In English;
  • Inclusion Of A Motivation Letter;
  • The Applicant Is Required To Submit A Faculty Recommendation Letter;
  • Applicants Must Not Be Recipients Of Another Scholarship Program.

Individuals Desiring To Take Part In The Program Should Indicate Their Interest By March 15, 2024.
