BNTU’s Office of Student Services supports the orientation of BNTU students, professional students, and trainees, focusing on developing practical skills in real-world environments and assisting with graduate employment. It also organizes educational, cultural, and sports events for the BNTU community, encouraging participation in both local and international projects and events.
The service plays an active role in organizing and financing extracurricular activities, consistently promoting sports, culture, and a healthy lifestyle among students and young people. It facilitates the recruitment of student-athletes, identifies talented students and supports their participation in national and international university competitions on behalf of BNTU. Additionally, BNTU students are members of the Ajara regional student theater troupe. The university also hosts an intellectual club, "What? Where? When?", along with various sports clubs (football, basketball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, martial arts), and a university jazz band.
In regards to professional orientation, the Office of Student Services:
- Provides guidance to individuals seeking to choose a profession
- Assists potential students, current BSTU students, and vocational students in objectively evaluating their abilities
- Offers detailed information about BNTU’s programs, including higher education, vocational education, and certificate programs, along with enrollment prerequisites, registration documentation, program implementation details, tuition fees, funding options, scholarships, learning outcomes, practice opportunities, partner organizations and employment prospects
- Acquaints prospective students with BNTU's infrastructure, facilities, support services, and extracurricular activities
- Organizes various orientation events throughout the year: Open Door Days for high school students, orientation sessions in schools, and offers short-term courses, programs, and projects in BNTU aimed at orientation and career development
- Conducts surveys within its scope of competence to gather feedback and insights from interested individuals.
In regards to student and vocational student support and extracurricular activities, the Office of Student Services:
- Establishes and publicizes the calendar of educational and extracurricular activities
- Encourages the participation of students and vocational students in educational and extracurricular activities
- Supports the initiatives of students, vocational students and trainees, fostering their cognitive, creative and athletic development
- Forms and prepares teams/clubs in various sports and cultural activities for participation in university and external competitions
- Organizes a variety of cultural and sports events, excursions, hikes, intellectual games and competitions
- Hosta various contests and festivals
- Promotes a healthy lifestyle within BNTU
- Conducts surveys within its scope of responsibility to assess the needs and satisfaction of students, vocational students and trainees.
