Ioane Merabishvili, enrolled in the "Maritime Navigation" undergraduate program at Batumi Navigation Teaching University, is set to pursue studies during the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year at the Maritime Faculty of Istanbul Technical University. This international student mobility is facilitated through the ERASMUS+ international credit mobility program, and the entire funding for this initiative is provided by the program. Istanbul Technical University serves as a partner institution with BNTU, enabling student and staff exchange programs under the ERASMUS+ international credit mobility program.
