Batumi Navigation Teaching University
(BNTU) announces open competition (hereinafter referred to as - Competition) for holding of the following academic positions:
- Logistics: 2 assistant-professors.
Requirements for the academic position of assistant-professor:
- Assistant-professor –a) for the confirmation of qualification according to academic grade: Doctor’s academic or equal scientific grade; theses, publications issued /published during recent 5 years in the field, corresponding to the competition vacancy; b) for the confirmation of qualification according to professional experience: no less than Master’s or equal academic grade; no less than 4-year professional experience and theses, publications issued /published during recent 5 years.
Competition dates:
- Publication of information about Competition - 14.02.2018;
- Acceptance of Competition documents: 19.03. - 23.03.2018;
- Competition Commission working period: 26.03. - 30.03.2018;
- Announcement of preliminary results of Competition: 02.04.2018;
- Appealing of preliminary results of Competition (acceptance of claim applications): 03.04. -05.04.2016;
- Working period of Claim Commission - 10.04. - 13.04.2018;
- Announcement of final results of Competition: no later than 16.04.2018 (preliminary results of Competition will be considered final results in case of no appeal);
- Issuance of order on appointment of competition winners at academic positions: no later than 17.04.2018.
Competition documents:
- Application addressed to the Chairman of the Competition Commission;
- Completed “Applicant’s form”;
- Copy of identification document (Identification Certificate/ ID Card (in case of foreign citizenship – copy of passport/ID Card and notary certified translation);
- Photo(3X4; soft-copy);
- Copy of higher education (Master’s or equal academic grade) confirmation document;
- a) for the confirmation of qualification according to academic grade: copies of documents, confirming Doctor’s academic or equal scientific grade and research and teaching experience (employment book, certificate etc.);
b) for the confirmation of qualification according to professional experience: documents, confirming professional and teaching experience (employment book, certificate etc.);
- In case of document, certifying education/qualification gained abroad– notary certified Georgian translation and the document of recognition of education/qualification gained abroad, issued by LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement shall be submitted;
- Educational course program (syllabus) in Competition vacancy related field. Applicant, whose competence of conduction of given course in English/Russian is confirmed, will be given advantage;
- Documents confirming information stated by an applicant in “Applicant’s form” and information on theses /publications issued /published during recent 5 years in vacancy related field (shall be indicated in “Applicant’s form”).
Competition documents will be accepted within abovementioned period every day (except for Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 to 17:00 in printed form (Address: #38 Queen Tamar Ave. Batumi, Adjara) or in e-format (BNTU e-mail: info@bntu.edu.ge).
In case of appealing of preliminary results of Competition, claim applications will be accepted abovementioned period every day (except for Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 to 17:00 in printed form (Address: #38 Queen Tamar Ave. Batumi, Adjara; contact phone: 0422 292525, 0422 293232, +995 593 44 22 85) or in e-format (BNTU e-mail: info@bntu.edu.ge).
Preliminary and final results of Competition will be announced within abovementioned period at BNTU web-page (www.bntu.edu.ge).
