Graduation Awards

On February 16, 2024, an awarding ceremony for graduates of the study program "Promotion of employment in the maritime sector" was held within the framework of the sub-program of the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara at Batumi Navigation Teaching University. Graduates were awarded with certificates. The mentioned sub-program provided for the retraining of persons interested in employment on cruise liners in the professional direction of waiters and bartenders on board, in order to develop the skills that are a necessary prerequisite for the promotion of employment of service personnel in the maritime field, in particular on cruise liners. The sub-program provided for the training of persons interested in employment on a cruise liner as cruise waiters and bartenders on board. In order to develop the skills that are a necessary prerequisite in the maritime field, in particular on cruise liners, for the promotion of employment of service personnel. The training was carried out with a specially designed short-term intensive training module, included: theoretical and practical training course, production practice, improving the level of English language and studying the terminology necessary for the profession in the real working environment of partner companies. Also, an appropriate certified course for seafarers in accordance with the requirements of the STCW Convention and the IMO Model Courses.
