PRACTICAL EXERCISES AND THEORETICAL TRAINING RELATED TO FIRE SAFETY 31.03.2021

Mandatory (at least once in half a year) practical exercises and theoretical training on fire safety were held at Batumi Navigation Teaching University on March 31, 2021, with the participation of BNTU staff and vocational students.

Theoretical training was conducted by Nikoloz Leshok, person in charge of fire safety at Batumi Navigation Teaching University.

After the theoretical training, an alarm was sounded and staff and vocational students were evacuated through the evacuation exits.

At the end of the exercise, Nikoloz Leshok, BNTU Fire Safety Officer, set up a fire pit on a practical simulator for BNTU fire drills and practically demonstrated the fire extinguishing process carried out through water hydrants installed on a practical simulator.

Fire safety training and related exercises were successfully completed.
