Workshop: Educate, Employ, Advocate and Legislate for Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities

On December 15, 2016, the workshop, organized by Education Development and Employment Center  - “Educate, Employ, Advocate and Legislate for Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities” held in Batumi. The workshop was attended by the representatives from different fields, including representatives of private companies and enterprises, educational institutions operated in Adjara. Problems relating to the employment and education of people with disabilities, ways of their solution, and methods of public destigmatization and challenging of stereotypes were discussed at the workshop.

The workshop was attended by Mrs. Natia Miqeltadze, the Head of BNTU Quality Provision Service, and Deputy Rector. The further cooperation of Batumi Navigation Teaching University with the Education Development and Employment Center was planned for the purpose of collaborative work on problematic issues relating to the wholesale integration of students with special need into the study process.
